LCOE has been for more than 70 years a national benchmark in the
calibration of low voltage measurement instruments. Two key
factors support our work, the high qualification of our technicians

Accurate energy easurement is essential for utilities, businesses and consumers. TIME & FREQUENCY
Accurate time measurement is a must for highfrequency applications in electronics, switch response time, angular velocity measurement of precision motors, and other essential areas in the industry.
The LCOE's metrological capacities are at the service of these applications in the calibration of oscilloscopes, frequency meters, optical tachometers, differential trip testers, switchgear testers , signal generators and all kinds of time and frequency measurement devices.

The precision in the measurement of light is very relevant in both exterior and interior lighting.
Photometry applied to the lighting of public roads, tunnels, accesses, etc. It has implications for road safety. In Spain, the REEAE regulation and RD 1890/2008 regulate light limits outdoors.
In interior lighting, photometry is applied to the health of workplaces, both in offices and in industry, where light limits are required with consequences on occupational health and safety (EN 12464).
The LCOE optics laboratory offers calibration services for lux meters from 0.4 lux to 5000 lux and luminance meters from 1.8 cd / m2 to 1000 cd / m2.

The measurement of magnetic induction is important in industrial applications, such as the manufacture of transformers, surface treatments in metallurgy and in the safety of installations such as substations.
