Calibration of an inductive voltage transformers up to 450 kV and other capacitive voltage transformer up to 200 kV was successfully performed at 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies in May 2021 at LCOE HV Lab. The inductive voltage transformer is one standard unit of Trench Italia factory, which is used to performed test for accuracy of manufactured voltage transformers. The capacitive voltage transformer is a blind sample that will be used in Trench Italia factory and laboratories.

The calibration of the voltage transformers has been carried out following the internal calibration procedure of LCOE. Calibration has been performed comparing the obtained measurements in the calibrated instrument with the measurement of LCOE national standard voltage transformers.

LCOE is accredited by ENAC / ILAC to perform calibrations of instrument transformers according to ISO 17025 Std and is the Designated Institute in Spain holding national high voltage standards.
