Calibration of two AC high voltage measuring systems up to 500 kV, 60 Hz and one additional AC high voltage measuring system of rated voltage 200 kV, 50 Hz was performed in June 2022 at LCOE High Voltage Lab.

The AC high voltage capacitive dividers with rated voltage 600 kV, frequency 60 Hz and capacitance 2000 pF were designed and manufactured by MEGAVOLT Limited UK company for on-site testing by an Asian customer.

The calibration of the high voltage measuring systems was carried out following both IEC 60060-2 Standard and the internal calibration procedure PS3-E2 of LCOE. Calibration of RMS value magnitude up to 500 kV, 60 Hz was performed comparing the measured values of the capacitive AC systems with the measurements of LCOE Standard Voltage Transformers.

LCOE is accredited by ENAC / ILAC to perform calibrations of high voltage measuring systems according to ISO 17025 Std and is the Spanish Designated Institute in the CIPM MRA for high voltage magnitudes and calibrations.
